I finished a book for the first time in forever. Where Am I Now? by Mara Wilson, which I started -- and read most of -- in September, but which I finally finished today. C2E2 was a rollicking success! On Friday Jen and I drove down to Chicago. We stayed at the Red Roof Inn, which is a hotel with tiny rooms and crappy plumbing, but it's one of the cheaper downtown options and eh, it's reasonably clean and the service was friendly. The Night Vale live show was awesome! I drove down to Chicago with Addison, Plomp, and Jennie. We passed through a storm, and it was drizzling in Chicago, but not badly. I had a really awesome day yesterday. Jen, Rachel and I went to the MacKenzie Center, which is a nature and wildlife center about 30 miles north of Madison. They have little displays and museums on local animal and plant life, the logging industry, and maple tapping and syrup making.
